Husband & Wife

First time I've had a husband and wife on a course . . .

George & Wendy from Oxford who look as though they've had a good time ?

I'm immensely jealous. If I could understand a Neapolitan woodworker I would try and get carving lessons down here, but I am better off simply admiring their work; I'm afraid I'd get likened to the wood more often than I'd actually do anything useful with it. (Neapolitans speak an ancient secret language that involves a lot of slurring consonants and warped vowels--not to mention massive coffee consumption.)

How long does it take a beginner to carve a cooking spoon?

I think a beginner could easily do a spoon in a couple of hours.
It depends on the design and how much help I give !
